ff Venture Capital Closes Fourth Venture Capital Fund, at $53.78M

ffvcff Venture Capital, a NY-based seed- and early-stage venture capital firm, closed its fourth fund, at $53.78m.

According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, ff Sapphire (IV) Venture Capital Fund, LP, received support from 82 investors. It lists partners Alex Katz and John Frankel as people related to the offering.

Led by Partners Katz, Frankel, David Teten, Adam Plotkin and Michael Faber, ff Venture Capital (ffVC) invests in tech startups in such areas as UAVs, smart locks, cloud-based security, machine learning, enterprise software and crowdfunding, among others, giving them support via an acceleration team of 20+ investment and operations professionals to develop products, target markets and accelerate growth.
Since 2008, ffVC has invested in 80+ companies with an aggregate market value exceeding $2.5 billion.
