Einsite, an Indian developer of a IoT technology platform for construction and mining industries, raised a seed round of funding.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed but reports said it could be provided in convertible notes in the range of £100k/200k.
KPCB Edge, the early-stage subsidiary of Kleiner Perkins Caulfield Byers, made the investment.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop its platform.
Led by brothers Anirudh and Rajiv Reddy, Einsite is a stealth mode startup which building an Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology platform “to make the construction and mining industries smarter“. The company’s product – still under development – is expected to be available in 2017.
