Bulldog Innovation Group (BIG) has launched a venture capital fund led by Yale University alumni.
The Whitney Innovation Fund has already raised approximately $4m with the final target to raise $8m in rolling closings through the first half of 2016.
The fund focuses on backing early stage companies linked to a Yale community member with capital, mentoring and support.
Led by Rob Quartel, Chairman of the Board of Managers, BIG has made initial investments in six companies.
