Bloomfire, an Austin, Texas-based knowledge sharing software company, closed $12.8m in Series B funding.
Austin Ventures made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its sales and marketing teams and further develop its platform.
Led by Mark Hammer, COO, Bloomfire provides enterprises with a knowledge sharing platform currently used by thousands of employees for customer support and sales enablement.
Bloomfire SE, the company’s newest product – which is built on top of the core platform – is a sales enablement product that allows sales reps to share content with prospects and gain actionable analytics into the effectiveness of marketing content and the use of that content.
