.406 Ventures, a Boston, MA-based venture capital firm, is to raise an opportunistic fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, Point 406 Ventures 2016 Opportunities Fund, L.P., is seeking to raise $80m to make follow-on investments in the firm’s portfolio companies.
The document lists co-founders and managing partners Maria Cirino and Liam Donohue as people releated to the offering.
Founded in 2005, .406 Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm leading, or co-leading, first institutional investment rounds in market-changing Enterprise IT companies. The firm, which has approx. $600M under management, is also led by Greg Dracon, Graham Brooks, Payal Agrawal Divakaran, and Larry Begley.
