Projector, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of adaptive messaging and push notification platform, raised $4.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Baseline Ventures with participation with Freestyle Capital, SV Angel, IDG Ventures and True Ventures and angels Owen Van Natta, Dick Costolo, Damien Weiss and Jeremy LaTrasse.
The funding will be used to bring the development of the service out of Beta and into new market segments.
Co-founded by Timothy Young – CEO, and Aaron Gotwalt – CTO, Projector (currently in private beta) is a SaaS platform that allows developers and product teams to expand their product experiences outside the confines of their app by leveraging an advanced rules engine and machine learning that adapts to the individual preferences and enables each user to have full control and tailor their notifications.
