Odyssey Raised $25M in Funding

Odyssey_logo_greyOdyssey, a social content platform for millennials, raised $25m in its first institutional round of funding.

The round was led by Michael Lazerow and Jason Epstein. In conjunction with the funding, both Lazerow and Epstein will be joining Odyssey’s board.

The company, which has raised 32m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to scale operations.

Led by CEO Evan Burns, Odyssey is a social platform that discovers and shares millennial’s voices, amplified organically through people sharing with their friends. The platform leverages a crowd of creators to contribute and share what matters to them, and enables content to find its most relevant audience organically. Content ideas are chosen by creators and relate to any and every topic, including news, politics, fashion, relationships, sports, ideas, tech and future.
The company, based in NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin and Indianapolis, counts 10,000+ content creators, 900+ communities and over 30+ million monthly uniques.
