NodeSource, a provider of enterprise-grade solutions for Node.js development and operations, raised $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by RRE Ventures, with participation from early investors Crosslink Capital and Resolute.vc.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of products and services for Fortune 500 companies and other global corporations who are adopting Node.js.
Led by Co-Founder and CEO Joe McCann. NodeSource provides N|Solid, an enterprise-grade Node.js runtime platform, as well as professional services including N|Support, a Node.js development and operations support offering, architectural evaluations, and Node.js upgrade management services.
Since raising a $3.4m seed round last year, the company has released N|Solid, grown its customer base by more than 120%, and signed a partnership agreement with Google, offering N|Solid on Google Cloud Platform.
NodeSource is a distributed organization with team members working from Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, New York, San Francisco and Austin.
