Disruptive Technologies, a Bergen, Norway-based developer of wireless sensors that communicate with the Internet, raised $6m in funding.
Ubon Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its sensor technology and its organization and infrastructure towards market introduction in early 2017.
Founded in September 2013 by Erik Fossum Færevaag, CEO, Disruptive Technologies develops wireless sensors to serve the Internet of Things (IoT) market.
The company currently has 17 employees located in in Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, Aarhus, Mûnich and Palo Alto and is looking for additional product development, sales and marketing people.
