DigitalGenius, a London, UK- and San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI & human powered customer service platform, secured $4.1m in funding.
Backers included existing investors Lerer-Hippeau Ventures, Lowercase Capital, Metamorphic Ventures, RRE, and new investors BloombergBeta, NovelTmT, Salesforce Ventures, Singularity Investments, and Spider Capital.
Led by Mikhail Naumov, Chief Strategy Officer, DigitalGenius integrates with the user’s existing customer service software, including Salesforce, ZenDesk, and Oracle, to automate routine conversations and deliver intelligent answers in collaboration with human agents.
The deep learning algorithm that powers the platform, which is trained on conversation data from historical customer service logs across text-based communication channels like email, social media, and mobile messaging, is now publicly available to companies. Early adopters include clients in CPG, airline, banking, insurance, and telecom sectors.
