StreetLight Data, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform that applies geospatial data being produced by mobile devices to transportation, raised a Series B financing.
The round, whose amount was not disclosed, was co-led by Osage University Partners and ENGIE New Ventures with participation from existing investors Vision Ridge Capital Partners and Deutsche Telekom Strategic Investments.
The company will use the funds to accelerate sales and expand development of its platform, already in use by over 100 clients in North America.
Founded in 2011 by Laura Schewel, CEO, StreetLight provides a SaaS platform, StreetLight InSight®, which leverages geospatial data being produced by mobile devices to provide decision makers in the transportation sector with insights regarding mobility patterns and behaviors to improve smart cities, transportation engineering, real estate, and economic development.
