QoC Health Raises $700K in Seed Funding

qoc_healthQoC Health, a Toronto, Canada-based digital health company, closed a $700k seed round of financing.

The round was led by Epic Capital Management and Bayshore HealthCare, with participation from angel investors.

The company plans to use the funds to continue expansion and invest into its patient engagement platform.

Led by Chancellor Crawford, CEO and co-founder, John Semple, Co-Founder, Healthcare Strategy, and Sarah Sharpe, Co-Founder, Healthcare Analytics and Quality Improvement, QoC Health is a Certified B Corp™ that provides health organization with a digital platform for patient monitoring, analytics, educational materials, secure communications, decision aids, planning tools and integration with existing medical records.
The company recently designed and deployd an integrated multi clinic diabetes management program in Toronto’s Toronto Central LHIN region through the South Riverdale Community Health Center, and helped Alberta’s Kids Uncomplicated build Teleroo®, a multi stakeholder collaboration platform designed to create efficiencies in the way essential services are managed and delivered to families with complex needs children. It is also involved in Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) AdvancingHealth initiative and multiple Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) eHealth Innovation Partnership Program (eHIPP) projects.
