Crimson Hexagon, a Boston, MA-based provider of social data analysis to inform strategic enterprise decision-making, raised $20m in growth equity financing.
The round was led by Sageview Capital.
The company, which had raised $17.5m in funding prior to this investment round, intends to use the funds to add capabilities to its solution while also expanding its global sales and marketing team and infrastructure.
Led by Stephanie Newby, CEO, Crimson Hexagon provides a consumer insights platform that leverages social media in-house data library of more than 850 billion posts to allow brands and agencies to answer critical business questions.
Clients include global organizations such as General Mills, Starbucks, Paramount Pictures, Microsoft and Twitter, and agencies such as TBWA, VML, BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, Edelman and Digitas.
Crimson Hexagon has offices in London, Chicago and San Francisco.
