Statflo Inc., a Toronto, Canada-based wireless customer service, closed a $2.4m seed funding round.
The round was led by Round13 Capital with participation from Extreme Venture Partners, MaRS IAF, Globalive Capital, Rising Tide Fund, Garage Capital, Hedgewood and TIO Networks.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth.
Led by Kevin Gervais, co-founder and CEO, Statflo delivers a data-driven platform that allows wireless retail stores to drive more sales. By leveraging a smart engine that turns raw data into actions, the solution provides sales reps with user-friendly tools to pro-actively engage with customers to increase in-store traffic and provide more personalized, local service.
Customers include independently-owned and corporate-owned wireless retail dealers, as well as telecom providers. The platform has been rolled out to hundreds of locations across six major carriers.
The company has also announced a new strategic partnership with iQmetrix, a provider of retail management and customer experience technology to allow the latter’s wireless dealer customers to use Statflo’s platform.
