Salesfloor Raises $3M in Seed Funding

salesfloor-logoSalesfloor, a San Francisco, CA-based platform that enables customers to shop online with their local store and associate, raised $3m in seed funding.

The round was led by BDC Capital IT Venture Fund and London based angels Jamie True and Jon Claydon.

The company intends to use the funds to penetrate global markets and expand product development for new features and industry-specific modules, to grow the team.

Led by CEO Oscar Sachs and recently hired global sales head Alistair Crane, Salesfloor provides a SaaS-based platform that allows local stores and associates to create their own personalized version of a national retailer’s ecommerce site. Retailers including Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Stuart Weitzman, Harry Rosen, Toys “R” Us use the company’s suite of desktop and mobile products.
