inSided, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based community engagement platform, raised €6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Ventech, with participation from Fortino Capital and henQ.
The company intends to use the funds for the ongoing internationalization strategy as well as product innovation.
Led by Robin van Lieshout, CEO, inSided provides a way for businesses to connect at large scale with their customers, and empowers these customers to interact efficiently amongst each other and with brands. Customers can ask questions, find answers, co-create, share experiences and provide reviews on products and services. The platform runs on the Amazon cloud, and offers business integrations with systems like CRM and analytics.
The company currently has 60+ employees and presence in The Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, Finland and Spain.
inSided plans to hire between 50 and 100 new employees worldwide to strengthen its team and market leadership in Europe.
