Gamezop Closes $350K in Seed Funding

gamezopGamezop, a New Delhi, India-based smartphone gaming platform, closed $350K (Rs. 2.3 crores) in seed funding.

Backers included Kwan, Powerhouse Ventures, TracxnLabs, Aecal, Anand Chandrasekaran, Phanindra Sama, and Vinay Menon.

The company intends to use the funds to invest in technology, distribution alliances, and talent.

Led by CEO Yashash Agarwal, Gamezop aggregates short games from around the world, which can be played on a single app without constantly installing and uninstalling individual games.
Even though it is available only for Android right now, all of the games featured on the Gamezop app are device- and OS-agnostic and can be shared as weblinks to play on any smartphone, tablet, PC, or Smart TV. It is also extending features to HTML5 game developers to get them on par with their native counterparts.
