Digital Shadows Closes $14M Series B Funding

Digital_Shadows_LogoDigital Shadows, a London, UK and San Francisco, CA-based provider of a cyber situational awareness platform, closed a $14m Series B funding.

The round was led by Trinity Ventures with participation from existing investors Storm Ventures, TenEleven Ventures and Passion Capital and new investor Paladin Capital Group. In conjunction with the funding, Trinity Ventures’ general partner Fred Wang joined Digital Shadows’ Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate both development and hiring efforts and to grow the business globally.

Led by Alastair Paterson, CEO and co-founder, Digital Shadows provides a cyber situational awareness platform that gives a view of an organization’s digital presence and the profile of their attackers, including potential threats, attacker profiles, evidence of sensitive data loss, or negative impacts to brand integrity. Its SearchLight™ continuously monitors more than 100 million data sources in 27 languages across the visible, deep and dark web.
