Amperity Closes $9M Series A Funding

Amperity, a Seattle, WA-based marketing technology company, closed a $9M Series A funding.

The round was led by Madrona Venture Group, with participation from Founders’ Co-Op, Liquid 2 Ventures, Tim Kopp, Partner at Hyde Park Ventures, and S. Somasegar, Rajeev Singh, Dawn LePore, and Sujal Patel. In conjunction with the funding, Matt McIlwain, Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group, joined Amperity’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to develop its data-first application for marketing.

Co-founded by Kabir Shahani, CEO, and Derek Slager, Amperity is a stealth mode startup that aims to leverage advances in machine learning and cloud infrastructure to create a next generation software to solve today’s challenges faced by both marketing and IT organizations.
