500 Startups Launches $25M Fund Focused on India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

500startups500 Startups, the Silicon Valley based accelerator and early stage, has launched a new $25M regional fund focused on India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Led by 500 Startups partner Pankaj Jain, 500 Kulfi will be focusing on investing in early stage companies with product-market fit and demonstrated traction. The new vehicle will have a sector-agnostic approach.
Anyways, it will particularly consider opportunities in such secors as FinTech, EdTech, Health & Wellness, Data Analytics, Content and SaaS/SMB.

Since 2011, 500 Startups has invested in over 50 companies in India (20 in 2015 alone) including ZipDial, SourceEasy, Instamojo, CultureAlley, SilverPush, KartRocket, and Headout.
