Sentenai Closes $1.8M Seed Funding

SentenaiSentenai, a Boston, MA-based developer of cloud infrastructure that applies machine learning techniques to automate data engineering, closed a $1.8m seed funding.

Backers included Flybridge Capital Partners, Founder Collective, Project 11 Ventures, and Hyperplane Venture Capital. As part of the funding, Project 11 Ventures’ Reed Sturtevant will join the company’s Board of Directors, and Jeff Bussgang of Flybridge Capital and David Frankel of Founder Collective will serve as Board Observers.

The company will use the funding to build out its engineering team and continue the development of its data delivery network.

Founded in 2015 by Rohit Gupta and Brendan Kohler, Sentenai provides a machine learning application that enables automated intelligent systems to make better decisions using behavioral data streams and historical data repositories.
Users include organizations in Internet of Things (IoT), logistics, operations and other verticals with data rich modalities.
