Send Anywhere Raises $6M in Series A Funding

send-anywhere-logoEstmob Inc’s Send Anywhere, a Seoul, South Korea-based provider of a cross-platform file sharing app, raised $6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Saemin Ahn of Rakuten Ventures.

The company will use the funds to invest in platform specific marketing campaigns aimed at increasing user growth and retention as well as for product development.

Founded in 2012, Send Anywhere provides a file sharing application that lets users transfer any file type, across any platform, all without requiring signing up or logging on. It now works across Android, iOS, Windows Phone and PC, Mac, Linux, Web Widget, API, WordPress Plugin, and for Samsung Printers.
The company recently surpasses milestones of 1.5+ million monthly unique devices and 5+ million cumulative downloads across all major smartphone and desktop computers in 150+ countries.
