Qeexo Secures $4.5M in Series B Funding

Qeexo_LogoQeexo, a Mountain, View, CA-based provider of human-computer interaction technologies for mobile and other touch devices, secured $4.5m in Series B funding.

The round was led by KTB Network with participation from Inventec and current investors Sierra Ventures and Danhua Capital.

The company will use the funding to invest in hiring, operations, and R&D.

Led by Sang Won Lee, CEO, Qeexo develops solutions to advance the field of human-computer interaction via technologies that elevate the user experience of smartphones, tablets and wearables. Spun out of Carnegie Mellon University, the company has developed FingerSense, which distinguishes between a fingertip, knuckle, nail, or stylus input, and enhance the functionality and usability of mobile devices. The patented technology, deployed on millions of devices worldwide, analyzes the unique acoustic signature of physical objects to identify the object touching the screen and can be deployed on mobile devices without the extra cost or space of additional hardware.
