OpenView Venture Partners Surpasses $100m in Funding in Boston Tech Startups

openviewExpansion stage venture capital firm OpenView Venture Partners has said it provided more than $100m in investment in the technology startups of the area of Boston, where it is based.

In addition to capital, the firm has made more than 275 hires across sales, marketing and engineering for its companies with presence in Boston as well as for its own internal operations since 2006.

Founded by Scott Maxwell, OpenView invests in expansion stage software companies and has $700m in total capital under management. It also provides its portfolio with value-add services through OpenView Labs, which offers programs ranging from recruiting to market research and marketing and sales strategy.
In addition, OpenView is involved in activities with Startup Institute, and philanthropic organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Anti-Defamation League, Greater Boston Food Bank, Boston Marathon Foundation, etc.
