Mycity4kids, a Gurgaon, India-based parenting kid event and experience discovery platform, raised $3m in Series A funding.
Backers included SIDBI Venture Capital and existing investor YourNest Angel Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its mobile capabilities.
Led by Vishal Gupta, Managing Director, Prashant Sinha, COO, and Asif Mohamed, Cofounder & CTO, mycity4kids provides parents with a platform to discover what the city has to offer to kids in and around the neighbourhood, including events, camps, classes, birthday party places and a other more kid-related experiences and services. Parents can also look for recommendations and make a booking by either paying online or cash.
The website currently caters to parents in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune.
The platform also allows people to create their own blogs.
