Metamorphic Ventures, a New York City-based venture capital firm, is seeking to raise a $75m fund.
According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., the new vehicle, Metamorphic Ventures III, L.P., has not held any closing yet.
The document lists David Hirsch, the managing partner of the firm, as person related with the offering.
Led by Hirsch and Marc Michel, the co-founding partner, Metamorphic Ventures invests in technology startups focusing on marketplaces, e-commerce, payments, web services, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, etc.
The firm’s portfolio currently includes Fanduel, Trusted, Digital Genius, Indiegogo, Gem, Boxbee, etc., while successful exits include Playnomics, Snowball, Chango, Songza, RayV, MassRelevance, Stamped, iSocket, etc.
