Highland Capital Partners Promotes Two

hcpHighland Capital Partners, a global venture capital firm focused on investing in enterprise and consumer tech companies, promoted Manish Patel to lead the firm’s Silicon Valley Consumer Internet practice as a General Partner and appointed Jessica Pelletier to Chief Financial Officer.

Patel joined Highland in 2010 after spending nearly seven years at Google building the products and teams responsible for many of the company’s key product offerings, from AdWords and AdSense, to Google TV and Google Maps. He previously led investments in Aviate (acquired by Yahoo!) and SmartThings (acquired by Samsung) while currently serves on the boards of Shift and Scopely, and also

Pelletier joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining Highland, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s private equity and mutual fund practices and began her career in the finance department at StorageNetworks.
