GigaSpaces Technologies, a NYC-based provider of cloud orchestration and data scalability platforms, raised over $20m in funding.
The round was led by Claridge Israel (CI), a partnership between Claridge Inc. /the Stephen R. Bronfman Family Office and la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) with participation from existing investors BRM, FTV and Intel Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate global awareness and adoption of its cloud application orchestration and data scalability solutions, drive product innovation, and expand its sales organization worldwide in the area of hybrid cloud, NFV and real-time analytics.
Led by Zeev Bikowsky, CEO, GigaSpaces provides organizations worldwide with cloud orchestration and data scalability platforms (Cloudify and XAP) to enhance IT efficiency and performance. They are used by top financial and insurance firms, Telco carriers, e-Commerce companies, transportation firms and healthcare organizations.
The company maintains offices in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.
