Emergence Capital Promotes Santi Subotovsky to General Partner

Emergence Capital_logoEmergence Capital, a San Mateo, CA-based enterprise cloud venture capital firm, promoted Santi Subotovsky to General Partner.

As General Partner, Subotovsky will continue to invest in entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of enterprise cloud companies.

Since joining Emergence in 2010, Subotovsky has led the firm’s investments in Zoom.us, CrunchBase, Civitas Learning, Restorando, Quasar, Top Hat, and Xapo. He also helped structure and lead Emergence Capital’s partnership with High Alpha, the venture studio started by Scott Dorsey.
Before joining the firm, Subotovsky had founded AXG Tecnonexo, a large e-learning vendor in Latin America.

Now led by Subotovsky and the other four general partners Brian Jacobs, Kevin Spain, Gordon Ritter and Jason Green, Emergence Capital is now investing its fourth fund and has nearly $1 billion under management.
Investments include Salesforce.com (CRM), SuccessFactors (SFSF, acquired by SAP), Veeva Systems (VEEV), Yammer (acquired by Microsoft), Box (BOX), and Crunchbase.
