Agent Review, a Bellevue, WA-based free online platform to connect consumers with insurance agents, closed a seed funding round.
The round was led by Joe Pulitano, President of Advanced Resources Marketing, a Boston-based national distributor of long term care insurance, and Doug May, a senior executive with Willis Reinsurance, as well as international investment companies Towpath and Anabranch.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company, which will begin fundraising for its Series A investment in January 2016, intends to use the funds to grow quickly.
Led by Jonas Roeser, Co-Founder and CEO, Agent Review provides consumers with access to insurance education and agent reviews. It empowers consumers with agent reviews and performance ratings, as well as supports navigation of complex decisions about insurance.
The platform has more than 200,000 members.
