Segura Systems, a London, UK-based provider of supply chain protection solutions for various sectors, raised £2m in Series A funding.
Octopus Ventures made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the technology.
Co-founded five years ago by Peter Needle and Ian Hepworth, Segura Systems provides a cloud-based platform that delivers supply chain protection to a range of industries. The technology creates a comprehensive audit trail that allows businesses to track every element of their purchases, from direct suppliers throughout the extended supply chain.
The company works with customers across the retail, automotive and construction industries, including Debenhams and Reiss.
