Onegini, a Woerden, The Netherlands, and Gdańsk, Poland-based provider of a mobile security platform, raised €1.5m in funding.
Backers included The Hatch Firm and InnovationQuarter.
The company will use the funds to accelerate international growth, with the opening of an office on The Hague Security Delta campus.
Led by CEO Denis Joannides, Onegini provides software solutions that allows organizations to develop mobile consumer apps and bring them on the market. The company’s solutions include the ability to make transactions quickly, and to log in with a PIN, fingerprint, face recognition, voice recognition or other future web and mobile authentication methods.
Customers include AEGON, IAK Insurance, UMG (Unirobe Meeùs Group), Van Lanschot Bank, Belgacom, Nationale-Nederlanden, and the Dutch Railways.
