NowForce, a Washington, DC- and Jerusalem, Israel-based developer of comprehensive mobile emergency response solutions, raised $4.5m in Series B funding round.
The round was led by Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNT), with participation from current investors Winnovation, Indigo Strategic Holding LP and Monet Venture Group Limited.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow in key markets for its dispatch and mobile solution, along with enabling deeper collaboration with Verint’s market-leading Situational Awareness Platform.
Led by Assaf Shafran, CEO, NowForce offers solutions for security, campus security, and public safety organizations incuding personal safety and SOS apps, a cloud-based computer aided dispatch system, and mobile response tools including blue-force tracking.
Founded in 2008, the company has a global presence including representatives in EMEA, APAC and South America.
