Love Home Swap Acquires HomeForExchange

Love Home Swap, a UK-based home swapping company, acquired its competitor HomeForExchange.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company plans to expand the business globally organically and via a number of acquisitions which will be made over the next 12-18 months.

With the deal, which follows the acquisition of 1stHomeExchange made in early 2013 and a strategic partnership with Wyndham Worldwide to accelerate international expansion, HomeForExchange joined the Love Home Swap group as part of its portfolio of peer-to-peer travel sites that includes its own brand, www.lovehomeswap.com.
HomeForExchange, which is an established player in the home swapping sector, will continue to operate under its own brand.

Led by Debbie Wosskow, founder and CEO, Love Home Swap allows people to choose a home and make the swap (either directly with the owner or through a Swap Points system). It features 80,000+ properties in over 160 countries around the world.
