Codeship Raises $1.5M in Funding

Codeship, a web-based continuous delivery service for testing and deploying code, raised $1.5m in funding.

Backers included existing investors Sigma Prime Ventures, Boston Seed Capital and F-Prime Capital.

The company, which has raised $4.4m to date, intends to use the funds to grow its presence among larger corporations, improve existing products and expand its sales team.

Led by Moritz Plassnig, CEO, Codeship provides a continuous delivery platform that turns a manual release process into an automated one by making it easy for developers to test and deploy new software and allowing teams to focus on product development.
The company has offices in Vienna, Austria and Boston, MA.
