Canvas Ventures, a Portola Valley, CA-based venture capital firm, launched a new fund.
According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., Canvas Ventures 2, L.P., this is the name of the new fund, has a target of $250m.
The document lists partners Gary Little, Paul Hsiao, Rebecca Lynn and Ben Narasin as people related with the fundraising process.
The firm invests $5-15M in the Series A and B rounds of US companies across FinTech, digital health, marketplaces, new enterprise, Big Data areas.
The portfolio currently includes CrowdFlower, Eden, Everwise, FutureAdvisor, HealthLoop, Totango, Transfix, Viewics and Zola.
