Boundless, a NYC-based provider of open source geospatial software and services which use location-based mapping technology, raised more than $5m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Motorola Solutions Venture Capital with participation from existing investors Vanedge Capital and In-Q-Tel.
The company intends to use the funds to continue investment in engineering and sales expansion to make its solutions accessible across industries.
Led by Andy Dearing, CEO, Boundless develops software for enterprise Spatial IT applications as well as packaging, support, maintenance, professional services, and expert training. It offers platforms for managing data and building maps and applications designed for bringing spatial information into today’s workflows.
