8vance, a Venlo, the Netherlands-based developer of a smart virtual assistant who, to a large extent, takes care of the long search process for the ideal candidate or job, raised €2m in funding.
Backers included The Limburg Business Development Fund (LBDF), Kickstart Venlo (Rabobank) and the company’s founders.
The company intends to use the funds to roll out its recruitment solution in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Led by Han Stoffels, founder and CEO, and Peter van Marwyk, Co-founder and CFO, 8vance provides AIMA (Automatic Intelligent Matching Agent), which uses artificial intelligence and big data to find talents and match them with jobs on the Internet.
The public beta version of the system is currently being tested and trialed by an international group of companies, recruiters and HR service providers.
