The SPOT Experience, a NYC-based pet care services provider, received an equity investment from Drayton Park Capital.
The financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The company will use the proceeds to accelerate growth through partnerships with real estate developers in both New York and other metropolitan markets, strengthen the corporate infrastructure, and further enhance its position in Corporate and Travel related activities.
Led by Mitch Marrow, Founder and Co-CEO, The SPOT Experience provides pet care services including dog daycare, transportation, boarding, grooming, walking, training and retail at three stand-alone locations in Manhattan and one in Connecticut. The personnel and dog handlers are insured, licensed, and checked.
Its subsidiary, SPOT Travel, operates United Airlines’ PetSafe travel program out of both Newark and O’Hare airports.
The company is also backed by Mistral Equity Partners.
