SunTree Holdings, LLC, a Phoenix, Arizona-based producer of branded and private-label nuts and dried fruit, received a majority investment from Satori Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by David Turner, founder and chief executive officer, SunTree Holdings is a holding company for SunTree Snack Foods, LLC, and Southwest Commodities, LLC. SSF is a producer of branded and private-label nuts and dried fruit that serve as sources of healthy fats, dietary fiber, and protein. The company’s products include roasted and salted nuts, trail mixes, chocolate and yogurt-covered nuts, and flavored nuts.
SC is an agricultural brokerage business, which facilitates the procurement of raw materials for SunTree and other manufacturers.
The company, which has annual revenue of more than $100m, serves discerning customers including big-box retailers and national grocery stores.
