QD Vision, a Lexington, Massachusetts-based developer of quantum dot technology for QLED displays, raised approximately $22m in funding.
The round was led by Tsing Capital and BASF Venture Capital.
The company, which has raised more than $100m in total financing, intends to use the funds to further develop intellectual property inventions and accelerate growth.
Founded in 2004 and led by Mustafa Ozgen, CEO, QD Vision has developed quantum dot display technology for QLED (Quantum-dot LED) displays.
The company has also announced a new joint development agreement with BASF Group for a quantum dot-enhanced backlight and a color filter for use in LCD displays.
