Joyable Raises $8M in Series A Funding

joyableJoyable, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an online solution for overcoming social anxiety, raised $8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by existing investors Thrive Capital and Harrison Metal.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, to build native mobile apps, grow beyond social anxiety to serve people suffering from other mental health issues, like depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is hiring.

Led by Pete Shalek, CEO, and Steve Marks, COO, Joyable provides mental health services via an online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) program for treating social anxiety.
The platform is available online with support from trained coaches.
