Hullabalu, a NYC-based interactive story app creator, secured $2.5m in funding.
Backers included Rothenberg Ventures, Technicolor Ventures, Vayner RSE, Great Oaks VC, 645 Ventures, Melo7 Tech Partners and Nas.
Led by Suzanne Xie, Founder and CEO, Hullabalu is the creator of the interactive story app designed exclusively for iOS, The Adventures of Pan and has now announced the launch of the fifth book in the epic adventure series, Book V Pan: The Shadow Stone.
Like the first four interactive stories, Book V (available in the App Store for $3.99) combines animation and iPad technology with entertaining, educational, and age-appropriate content that guides children in developing their creativity, critical thinking, and reading skills.
