Hitbox, a Vienna, Austria-based livestreaming community for gamers, raised $4m in funding.
The round was led by Speedinvest, with participation from online game developer and publisher Wargaming, North Base Media, and other angels.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations. It is hiring in Vienna.
Led by Martin Klimscha, CEO, Hitbox is a live streaming platform for the gaming community offering revenue sharing from adverts. It is open to all streaming using common PC tools like Open Broadcasting Software or XSplit.
