Healthjump, Inc., a Pheonixville, PA-based medical record exchange and communication platform, acquired DataTrade Solutions Inc., a healthcare IT consulting, development and support company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Co-founded in 2009 by Cliff Cavanaugh and Jim Rowland, now Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Healthjump, DataTrade builds custom applications and integrations to improve efficiencies of EHR systems.
The purchase aims to expand Healthjump’s capability to serve clients nationwide by utilizing the programming and technical experience available within DataTrade to extend its currently provided services.
Led by Martin Aboitiz, CEO, Healthjump provides a medical record exchange and communication platform designed to provide medical entities with the tools to securely communicate with patients, staff and colleagues through streamlined clinical dialogues and assist in payer negotiations and enhance operational procedures.
The solution also allows patients to create a personal health record and utilize a secure communication platform to message doctors and staff.
