According to a press release, Enrico Gasperini, founder, president and CEO of Milan, Italy-based venture incubator Digital Magics (Aim Italia: DM), died on November 6, 2015.
The cause of death was not disclosed.
Gasperini, who was born in Cesena, on January 11, 1962, founded the venture incubator Digital Magics in 2004, which was listed on AIM Italia, the Alternative Investment Market for small and medium-sized Italian enterprises with high growth potential organized and managed by Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange).
After obtaining his degree in Computer Science and, he founded Inferentia, a new media agency specialized in online marketing services which went public in 2000.
Gasperini has always been committed to the diffusion of the Internet culture, and an active player in the process of building the Italian digital system.
