Workable Raises $27M in Series B Funding

workableWorkable, a Boston, MA-based hiring platform for small businesses, raised $27m in Series B funding round.

The round was led by Balderton Capital with participation from Notion Capital and existing investors 83North (formerly Greylock IL).

The company, which has raised $34m in total funding, intends to use the capital to expand into USA.

Led by CEO Nikos Moraitakis, Workable delivers a cloud-based solution for employers who need to post jobs, track candidates and hire as a team.
It is used by more than 3,000 businesses in 52 countries.
Founded in 2012, the company started in Athens and seeded by Openfund and angel investors. It also has offices in London.
