Sentera Launches with $5M in Funding

senteraSentera, LLC, a Minneapolis-based drone, sensor, and software company, has launched its platform, after securing $5M in funding.

The funding came from an unnmed strategic investor.

Led by Greg Emerick, EVP of business development, Sentera provides the OnTop™ Platform for desktop and mobile applications for the cellular and broadcast tower industry (tower owners, builders, climbers, and service providers) to manage big data associated with inspection imagery.
The platform, which comprises a mobile app and desktop client that automatically sync with one another, allows users to analyze image data and record the exact location, date, time, and asset type associated with each and every inspection photo.
Photos are assigned to the correct site and are presented in a clean, searchable map view, making it the ideal image management tool. All imagery is saved to a secure, 256-bit AES + SSL encrypted cloud server, and, once uploaded, is available instantly anywhere in the world.

Sentera has more than 200 years of combined experience with drones, sensors, software and data management, and engineering solutions. The company is FAA-approved to commercially operate drones and has 20,000+ hours of total flight time.
