Salesforce Ventures to Invest $100m in European Startups

CRM company Salesforce (NYSE: CRM)’s venture capital arm Salesforce Ventures has allocated $100m to invest in European startups.

The new $100m commitment will provide funding and support to entrepreneurs driving public cloud software market growth in Europe.

Since 2009, Salesforce Ventures has been investing in enterprise cloud startups that are part of the emerging global enterprise app economy. Companies receive funding to accelerate their growth, get access to the company’s cloud ecosystem and to the guidance of the network of Salesforce executives.

The Salesforce Ventures portfolio includes innovative European cloud companies such as CartoDB, CloudSense, Cloud9 IDE, NewVoiceMedia, Qubit, Universal Avenue and YOUR SL.
