Envelop VR Raises $4M in Series A Funding

EnvelopVR_LogoEnvelop VR, a Bellevue, WA-based enterprise software company focused on “leading businesses and consumers to virtual reality“, raised $4m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Madrona Venture Group.

The company intends to use the funds to build out the engineering and business teams.

Founded in 2014 by Bob Berry, CEO, and Jon Mavor, CTO, Envelop VR is creating enterprise and productivity software that allows businesses and consumers to create, work and play in a virtual reality environment.
Serial entrepreneur Berry studied virtual reality in Japan in the late 90s while Jon Mavor spent the last two decades in the video game business developing advanced rendering technologies.
